Met x Eichholtz presenta la silla Georges Jacob, inspirada en la elegancia neoclásica de un pequeño sofá (ca. 1785) del maestro ebanista francés Georges Jacob (1739-1814), perteneciente a la colección del Met. Nuestra interpretación, con tapicería color crema Sentier y acabado en oro envejecido, irradia una sofisticación atemporal, fusionando la artesanía clásica con el lujo moderno.
PROCEDENCIA HISTÓRICA
La silla Georges Jacob celebra la elegancia atemporal de los interiores franceses de finales del siglo XVIII, inspirada en las magistrales creaciones del destacado ebanista Georges Jacob (francés, 1739-1814). Célebre por sus diseños neoclásicos, Jacob creó piezas para la realeza francesa, incluido Luis XVI.
